Monster Train

Monster Train 2 is a strategic deck-building roguelike set in a richly imagined world where Titans have seized control of Heaven, forcing former angels and demons to form an uneasy alliance. Players take command of powerful clans aboard newly forged trains, journeying through the chaotic realms of Hell, Heaven, and the Abyss to confront and defeat the Titans before they bring about destruction. The game challenges players to defend their train across three vertical battlefronts, recruiting and upgrading units, experimenting with diverse strategies, and adapting to waves of dangerous enemies. With five distinct clans to choose from, each offering unique abilities and playstyles, players can tailor their approach to suit their preferences and tactics. Beyond the intense battles, Monster Train 2 offers deep progression and customization systems. Players can enhance their decks with new Room and Equipment Cards that provide strategic advantages and unit bonuses, while the Covenant Outpost serves as a hub for managing upgrades and advancing the narrative through character interactions. The game also features Pyre Hearts, which influence gameplay and story development, and a variety of challenging modes such as Dimensional Challenges and Daily Challenges that introduce new mutators and rewards.
