Game Overview

Mother Russia Bleeds is a gritty and intense beat ’em up set in an alternate version of the Soviet Union, where players take control of a group of imprisoned street fighters fighting to overthrow a brutal criminal regime. The game’s narrative follows this desperate crew as they struggle against both the oppressive authorities and their own forced drug addictions, creating a dark and unforgiving atmosphere. Players can experience the story solo or team up with up to three friends in local co-op, battling through dangerous environments like violent ghettos, grim prisons, and seedy underground clubs. Gameplay is fast-paced and relentlessly violent, emphasizing raw melee combat with punches, claws, and weapons as players fight their way through waves of enemies. A unique feature of the game is the use of narcotics, which players inject to enter a frenzied state, greatly enhancing their combat abilities but also adding a risk factor as they manage their addiction. Recovering drugs requires harvesting them from defeated foes, adding a brutal resource management element to the brawling action. In addition to the story campaign, Mother Russia Bleeds offers a challenging Survival Mode where players can test their skills against endless hordes, making it a gritty and uncompromising experience for fans of classic and cooperative beat ’em ups.
