Game Overview
NAMAKORIUM (ナマコリウム) is a cooperative real-time strategy game set in a post-apocalyptic ocean where players command unique sea cucumbers, known as Namakos, to cleanse polluted waters left behind by humanity. Designed for up to four players, the game challenges you to gather resources, construct buildings, and clear dangerous paths as you race against time to purify the ocean before food supplies run out. Each Namako type possesses distinct abilities—such as the Shell Namako’s limestone gathering or the Flame Namako’s resilience to extreme heat—allowing players to assign specialized roles and coordinate their efforts to overcome environmental hazards and hostile forces. Beyond multiplayer chaos, NAMAKORIUM offers a refined solo mode where players can choose to approach the game either at a relaxed pace or with a focus on peak efficiency, making it accessible for different playstyles. As you restore the ocean’s health, vibrant corals bloom and more than 50 types of scenic creatures, both real and fantastical, return to the waters, adding a rewarding sense of progression. However, players must also contend with Blight Namakos—corrupted enemies that threaten to undo their progress by spoiling resources. Using powerful tools like the Namako Fusion Cannon, teams must work together to repel these threats and reclaim the sea’s beauty. With 16 unique stages and a blend of frantic action and strategic planning, NAMAKORIUM offers a charming yet challenging experience that combines environmental restoration with cooperative gameplay.
