Game Overview

NARIBIKIMURA is a first-person, single-player exploration horror game that invites players to uncover the mysteries of a forgotten village hidden deep within a collapsed cliffside. Set in the year 2000, the story begins when the protagonist discovers a tunnel-like structure that emerged after a powerful typhoon caused a landslide. Beyond this tunnel lies Naribiki Village, a place absent from any map, shrouded in silence and decay. As players explore the eerie environment, they gather clues and piece together the events that led to the village’s abandonment, all while immersed in a chilling atmosphere inspired by real-life deserted locations in Japan. The gameplay centers on exploration and investigation, encouraging players to carefully examine their surroundings to reveal the village’s dark secrets. For those who prefer a less intense experience, NARIBIKIMURA offers a Ruins Exploration Mode that removes horror elements entirely, allowing players to freely adjust the time of day and capture photographs of the hauntingly beautiful ruins. This mode emphasizes peaceful exploration, making it accessible to a wider audience. The game features approximately two to three hours of gameplay, balancing atmospheric storytelling with a focused narrative experience. While primarily a horror title, the inclusion of this alternate mode broadens its appeal by blending atmospheric exploration with subtle storytelling.
