Set in a variety of eerie locations—from the isolated Fisherman’s House to the infamous Chernobyl zone and even the mysterious Backrooms—each investigation challenges players to identify different types of ghosts, each exhibiting unique behaviors. The game emphasizes cautious observation, using a suite of high-tech tools displayed on the player’s computer, including electromagnetic field meters, temperature sensors, sound meters, laser grids, and UV lights, all designed to detect supernatural activity invisible to the naked eye. Gameplay revolves around analyzing data collected during investigations to determine the nature of the haunting, after which players can activate an Exorcism module to banish the spirits. Successful completions reward experience points and money, which can be invested in unlocking tougher difficulties, new tools, and additional locations.
