Game Overview
RAID: World War II is a cooperative first-person shooter set against the backdrop of Europe during the height of World War II. Players take on the roles of four prisoners of war—Sterling, Rivet, Kurgan, and Wolfgang—who have been recruited by a covert British intelligence operative known as “Mrs. White.” United by a common goal to bring down Hitler and the Third Reich, these unlikely allies embark on ruthless missions to sabotage Nazi operations and seize as much gold as they can carry. The game’s setting spans iconic European locations, from the imposing Flakturm in Berlin to the scenic Bridge over the River Elbe, immersing players in a war-torn world where combat is brutal and unforgiving. The gameplay revolves around teamwork and strategy, with players choosing from four distinct classes—Recon, Assault, Insurgent, and Demolitions—each offering unique weapons and abilities tailored to different playstyles. Players can customize their characters’ uniforms to stand out on the battlefield, adding a personal touch to their soldier’s appearance. Throughout the campaign, missions range from quick raids to extended operations that chain multiple objectives together, increasing both the challenge and the potential rewards. A notable feature is the use of Challenge Cards, collectible modifiers that add variety and difficulty to missions, such as limiting weapon choices or introducing unexpected enemies. With a focus on cooperative play, tactical decision-making, and a gritty wartime atmosphere, RAID: World War II delivers an intense multiplayer experience rooted in historical conflict.
