You take on the role of a lone scavenger venturing deep into Katabase 6, a sprawling mining complex controlled by the corrupt megacorporation Orpheus Tech. The game challenges you to navigate nine handcrafted levels filled with hostile guards and environmental hazards, relying on a mix of stealth tactics and intense combat to survive. Utilizing an arsenal of gadgets like taser darts, noisemakers, and improvised grenades, you must cleverly manipulate shadows and distractions to slip past enemies unnoticed. However, if detected, the game shifts into fast-paced, unforgiving combat where brute force alone won’t guarantee survival—you’ll need to be aggressive, relentless, and resourceful to overcome heavily armored foes. Progression in Raw Metal centers around collecting and upgrading over fifty unique pieces of gear, allowing you to tailor your character’s abilities and appearance to suit your preferred playstyle. Whether you favor stealth, direct confrontation, or a balanced approach, customizing your equipment is key to tackling the facility’s escalating dangers.
