Relayer Advanced is a simulation RPG that blends themes of stars, robots, and Greek mythology into a futuristic space saga. Set in the mid-21st century, the game centers on the conflict between the Starchildren—humans who have awakened extraordinary abilities connected to the cosmos—and the enigmatic Relayer, an alien life form intent on invading Earth. Players take command of the Stellar Gear, powerful mecha piloted by the Starchildren, leading their forces through tactical battles that emphasize strategic positioning and resource management. The combat system incorporates unique mechanics such as "Hate," which influences enemy targeting, job- and character-specific skills, coordinated "Backstab" maneuvers for flanking attacks, and devastating "Big Bang" special moves, all of which require careful planning to outwit the Relayer forces. Building on the original Relayer released in 2022, Relayer Advanced introduces a revamped user interface with improved visibility through luminous lines that replace traditional grid squares on the battle map, providing players with clearer tactical information. A new recollection feature allows players to revisit key story events and battles, enhancing the narrative experience. The game also expands its endgame content with the challenging "Wormhole Mission," a multi-stage quest designed to test even seasoned players, though it remains accessible in easier difficulty settings.
