REPUNK

REPUNK is a solo exploration and survival game set on the rugged surface of Mars, where players assume the role of a human Envoy tasked with retrieving a mysterious Device detected by orbiting satellites. After a failed attempt by robotic Crawlers, you are deployed near the Device’s location with a strict 48-hour deadline to reach the Extraction Point, followed by a 12-hour window before the Extraction Team departs the planet. The mission’s urgency adds tension to your journey across challenging Martian terrain, where careful time management and resourcefulness are crucial to avoid an indefinite extension of your stay. Gameplay revolves around off-road driving of heavy vehicles, navigating difficult environments while relying on an AI companion, the A-C9 unit, for assistance with communications, ground analysis, and resource management. Beyond the core mission, REPUNK offers a non-linear experience in an open world that encourages exploration and discovery at your own pace. Players can choose to follow the directives set by the mysterious Overlords or break away to forge their own path, with the AI companion sometimes challenging your decisions. The game also features an immersive atmosphere enriched by in-game radio stations and a unique library of full-length books, including classic Earth literature and rare Martian writings, creating a richly detailed setting that invites players to lose themselves in the vastness of the red planet.
