Riffle Effect is a sci-fi action game that follows Gatto, a solitary mercenary who finds himself stranded on the mysterious planet Ureun after his spaceship is pulled into a wormhole and crash-lands. With his ship powerless and Rose, the onboard aerospace AI, deactivated, Gatto must explore this alien world to repair both his vessel and his companion. Guided by the captain who originally hired him, players dive into a narrative filled with unexpected challenges and a quest for survival in an unfamiliar environment. The gameplay offers a dynamic combat system that lets players switch between top-down and over-the-shoulder perspectives, adapting to different tactical needs. Players navigate through enemy traps and target weaknesses to gain the upper hand, utilizing a variety of weapons and skills. Combat strategies revolve around two skill types: Battle Skills, which provide active abilities like deploying turrets, shields, and recovery tools, and Passive Skills that enhance Gatto’s overall capabilities.
