As a postulant, your journey unfolds through meaningful interactions with the island’s custodians—each with their own stories—and through balancing your time between spiritual growth and community service. The game challenges you to nurture both your Faith Points and Charitable Points by engaging in activities like praying, volunteering at the hospital or orphanage, and helping with building projects. Managing these tasks effectively is key, as upgrading buildings and provisions can speed up your progress and open new opportunities. Along the way, you’ll discover and free Angel Spirits called ‘Ehi’ who aid in your development, while also contending with dark forces known as ‘Shetani’ that threaten your spiritual energy during the night. Sainthood’s atmosphere is defined by its cozy, meditative world, enriched by seasonal changes that bring the island to life with warm summers, crisp autumn air, and snowy winters. Players can unlock up to 25 beautifully illustrated stained glass windows featuring real saints, each accompanied by inspiring biographies that deepen the game’s spiritual theme. The narrative offers multiple endings shaped by your relationships and choices, encouraging exploration of the island’s characters and lore. With a serene soundtrack inspired by Gregorian chants and a focus on gentle time management and personal growth, Sainthood delivers a reflective experience that combines quiet storytelling with meaningful gameplay.
