Game Overview
Skeleton Crew plunges players into the dark, crumbling world of Karpathia, where humans teeter on the brink of extinction. As a member of the Yeoman Eldritch Extermination Team, you’re tasked with defending humanity from relentless hordes of chaos in this gothic, fast-paced platform brawler. The game offers a rich cooperative experience for one to four players, both locally and online (currently in beta), featuring frantic tactical combat against a variety of enemies, minibosses, and massive bosses. Players can recruit and upgrade from a roster of 12 unique gothic heroes, each bringing their own style to the battlefield. Progression involves collecting and utilizing a wide assortment of items, including scrolls, potions, weapons, traps, and grenade bags, allowing for dynamic and strategic gameplay. The hand-crafted, non-linear levels span three expansive regions, brought to life with lush, hand-painted visuals and striking special effects that create an atmospheric world filled with ghosts, demons, and ghouls. The recent Trick-or-Yeet update expands the game’s offerings with a competitive Player versus Player mode, introducing nine new maps and three distinct game types. Players can engage in classic Deathmatch battles, using a variety of skills and attacks in both team and free-for-all formats. Sportsball offers a unique twist, combining basketball-like gameplay where teams kick, throw, and dunk a ball to score points. Capture the Chicken challenges teams to snatch a chicken and return it to their coop while avoiding fiery traps. Whether battling solo, cooperating with friends, or competing against others, Skeleton Crew delivers a tense and thrilling blend of combat, strategy, and dark fantasy adventure.
