Game Overview
Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds takes players on a high-speed adventure through a variety of imaginative settings, from lush landscapes and oceanic routes to airborne tracks and even outer space. Central to the game’s experience is the innovative Travel Rings mechanic, which allows racers to warp between 15 different CrossWorlds dimensions mid-race, dramatically altering the course and adding an unpredictable twist to each competition. The game features 24 distinct tracks designed to challenge players’ reflexes and strategy, whether racing solo or teaming up with others. Players can choose from a roster of 23 beloved characters from the Sonic and SEGA universes, offering the largest selection in any Sonic racing title to date. Customization plays a key role, with 45 unique vehicles and 70 gadgets available to tailor your kart to fit your preferred racing style. As you progress, you can level up your vehicle and unlock powerful items to gain an edge over opponents. Gameplay options include local split-screen races, a new party mode called Race Park, and online multiplayer supporting up to 12 players worldwide. Time Trials also provide a chance to hone your skills and achieve faster lap times.
