Starting from scratch, you explore diverse environments—from rainforests and deserts to snowy mountains and wetlands—each presenting unique challenges and creatures. The game emphasizes authentic survival mechanics, encouraging players to build and fortify their clans by recruiting tribesmen with distinct personalities and skills. These companions can be assigned to various tasks like farming, crafting, patrolling, and repairing, allowing your tribe to thrive even when you’re away. The game offers a diverse combat system grounded in realistic physics, featuring eight weapon types and over seventy specialized skills. Beyond survival and exploration, players can construct elaborate fortresses, defend against hostile beasts and rival tribes, and even engage in competitive PvP battles. Soulmask supports both offline single-player and online multiplayer experiences, with modding support through Steam Workshop enabling players to create and share custom content, making every adventure truly your own.
