Game Overview

Splatter - Zombiecalypse Now is a top-down shooter set in a gritty, film-noir-inspired world where players face relentless hordes of zombies and monstrous creatures. The game’s single-player campaign unfolds across 16 levels filled with fully voiced characters, animated cutscenes, and a variety of side missions that deepen the story and expand the world. Players must strategically use light as a weapon—since zombies are vulnerable to it—employing flashlights to create safe zones and reveal enemy weaknesses. Exploration is key, as scavenging the destructible environments uncovers new weapons, resources, and hidden areas that help players survive the onslaught. Combat in Splatter hinges on a robust arsenal of upgradeable weapons, each enhanced with physics-based splatter effects that bring a visceral intensity to every encounter. Players earn money by defeating enemies and completing quests, which can be spent to improve their guns and unlock new abilities. The game also features challenging boss battles and tactical gameplay elements centered on light and shadow, adding depth to the intense action. Beyond the story mode, players can test their skills in Survival Mode with online leaderboards or team up locally with up to four friends for cooperative battles, using a variety of input devices. With its blend of atmospheric storytelling, strategic combat, and destructible environments, Splatter offers a unique and engaging experience for fans of fast-paced shooters.
