Strike Team Gladius

Strike Team Gladius is a turn-based tactical combat game set on a colony world under siege by an alien invasion. Players lead a specialized strike team through intense missions aimed at reclaiming the planet, navigating diverse environments ranging from arid deserts to dense alien jungles and even the invaders’ home world. The game emphasizes fast-paced, strategic battles without the distractions of base building or resource management, focusing purely on tactical combat. Players must use cover, terrain advantages, and interactive elements like explosive barrels and fuel containers to outmaneuver and overpower waves of alien foes, sometimes facing dozens of enemies at once. The gameplay centers on assembling and customizing a squad from 22 unique classes, including deadly snipers and fierce melee fighters, each bringing distinct abilities and traits that can combine to create powerful tactical synergies. As missions are completed, team members gain experience, unlocking new skills, command abilities, and access to improved equipment such as tanks, artillery, troop carriers, and combat mechs to support the squad. The main campaign features 40 missions, each with specific objectives and conditions that challenge players to adapt their strategies. Through steady progression, players develop their strike team into a highly effective and versatile fighting force, capable of turning the tide against the alien threat.
