Game Overview

Technicity: Prologue offers a first-person city-building experience that invites players to create and customize their urban environments with a high degree of freedom. Set within a large open world, the game allows you to design unique buildings by crafting your own construction blocks and items, ranging from houses and shops to factories and intricate architectural elements. Using tools like cranes, cement mixers, bulldozers, and steamrollers, you can accelerate construction, terraform the landscape, and build roads that seamlessly integrate into an extensive navigation system spanning thousands of kilometers. The prologue provides a 4 km² area to develop your city, while the full version expands this to a sprawling 384 km² map featuring multiple large cities. Gameplay focuses on creativity and progression, enabling you to save building schematics for reuse or share them with others through the Steam Workshop. Items you design can have functional features—such as garage doors that open or illuminated signs—and can even include vehicles, which other players can use within your world. The game supports both solo play and cooperative mode, where up to two players can collaborate on city development in the prologue, with up to four players in the full release. Beyond construction, players can engage in role-playing elements and enjoy a dynamic, player-driven environment, making Technicity: Prologue a promising introduction to a detailed and expansive city-building simulator.
