The Blackout Club

The Blackout Club is a first-person cooperative horror game that plunges players into the unsettling world of a small town plagued by a mysterious phenomenon known as the Blackout. Each night, the townspeople inexplicably sleepwalk, waking with no memory of their actions or whereabouts. A group of teenagers, having experienced these strange episodes firsthand, band together to uncover the dark secret behind these events—especially after one of their friends disappears under suspicious circumstances. As members of the Blackout Club, players explore a modern suburban neighborhood filled with houses, woods, and an eerie underground tunnel network, all while trying to gather evidence of the supernatural forces at play. Gameplay revolves around teamwork and stealth, requiring players to use an array of tools such as drones, noisemakers, and grappling hooks to evade hostile adults and investigate the town’s mysteries. Missions are procedurally generated, ensuring that no two nights are alike, with varying objectives, enemy patrols, and environmental challenges that keep each play session fresh. Players can customize their characters and develop new abilities as they progress, allowing for diverse playstyles and creative problem-solving. A looming threat known as The Shape hunts the players, but can only be seen when closing their eyes, adding a unique layer of tension and strategy. With drop-in/drop-out multiplayer supporting up to four players, The Blackout Club invites friends to work together, confront an unseen menace, and reveal the truth hidden beneath the surface of their seemingly quiet town.
