Game Overview

The Gravedigger places you in the role of a church assistant tasked with digging up graves on the premises to collect valuables and uncover hidden secrets. As you perform your nightly duties, you stumble upon burnt bones buried alongside a body, which soon reveals a darker mystery: these remains belong to a demonic entity tied to the church. This presence demands its bones be returned, setting the stage for a tense struggle between your survival and the occult forces at play. To progress, you must carefully choose which graves to dig, balancing the need to gather pay through valuables with the urgent goal of recovering six hidden burnt bones to quell the demonic unrest. Gameplay revolves around exploring up to 72 grave sites, each potentially hiding loot, locked compartments, or the crucial burnt bones. You’ll use in-game currency earned from selling valuables to purchase tools, lockpicks, and defensive items from the Paranormal Pantry—an eerie online shop that offers upgrades and equipment to help you combat the growing corruption within the church. This corruption intensifies the demon’s power over time, threatening your life if left unchecked. Managing resources, solving puzzles, and deciphering clues are essential to identifying the correct graves and preventing the demon from fully manifesting. With multiple difficulty levels and two endings to unlock, The Gravedigger challenges players to survive the night, outsmart dark forces, and uncover the sinister story behind the haunted grounds.
