The Riftbreaker is a sci-fi action-strategy game set on Galatea 37, a distant and mysterious planet located in the Sycorax belt of the Milky Way. Players take on the role of Captain Ashley S. Nowak, an elite scientist and commando equipped with a powerful Mecha-Suit named Mr. Riggs. Tasked with building a two-way portal back to Earth, Ashley must establish and manage sprawling bases across diverse biomes rich in rare minerals and alien lifeforms. The game blends base-building, resource management, and exploration as you construct mines, refineries, power plants, and research facilities to support the immense energy demands of the rift technology. As your industrial footprint grows, the planet’s hostile creatures will increasingly view you as a threat, prompting intense defensive battles involving walls, turrets, and other fortifications to fend off waves of aggressive alien enemies.
