Game Overview
Titan Station is a single-player first-person mystery set in a retro-futuristic universe where the year 1999 unfolds far into the future. Players step into the shoes of David, a systems operator seeking to leave his troubles behind by accepting a job at a remote space station. This isolated refueling depot, connected to Saturn’s moon Titan via an elevator and pipeline system, quickly reveals itself to be far more than just a mundane workplace. As David uncovers unsettling secrets, his quiet assignment transforms into a tense struggle for survival, wrapped in an atmospheric narrative that encourages exploration and discovery. The gameplay emphasizes storytelling and immersion over combat, offering a relaxed pace with simple puzzles that blend seamlessly into the unfolding plot. Communication plays a key role, as players interact with other characters through radio conversations, navigating trust and deception in an uncertain environment. Players also engage with retro-style computers and networks, diving into cyberspace to uncover hidden truths. Developed solo by Joakim Larsen, a seasoned 3D artist with experience on titles like Overkill’s The Walking Dead and Paradox’s Stellaris, Titan Station delivers a compact but rich narrative adventure lasting around three to four hours. Its blend of sci-fi ambiance, mystery, and minimalist gameplay creates an intriguing experience for those interested in story-driven exploration.
