TombStar

TombStar is a top-down Space Western shooter that blends fast-paced bullet-hell action with roguelike progression, set against the backdrop of a lawless frontier planet. In the distant edges of the Frontier Galaxy, the ruthless Grimheart Gang has seized control of TombStar, driving away all peaceful settlers. Players take on the role of one of three unique gunslingers—Jack Galloway, a hopeful hero following in his father’s footsteps; Benson Gara, a determined Lyroid environmentalist; or AJ Starchild, a rogue sniper seeking vengeance—to liberate the planet from the iron grip of the gang’s leader, King Killcard. Each character offers distinct abilities and playstyles, encouraging players to experiment and find their preferred approach to the relentless combat. The gameplay focuses on navigating intense, bullet-dodging encounters against a variety of enemies, from quick-drawing outlaws to mechanized foes armed with lethal weaponry. As players progress, they can unlock and upgrade a diverse arsenal of dynamic weapons, ranging from powerful shotguns to more unconventional tools like the explosive Fireworks Cannon. Throughout each run, players also encounter the enigmatic Duon brothers, who provide game-changing perks that enhance survivability and offensive capabilities, adding strategic depth to the fast-paced action.
