Tormentum II is a dark, surreal point-and-click adventure that weaves psychological horror into its richly detailed, hand-drawn world. After installing a mysterious coprocessor, David wakes imprisoned on an island surrounded by open sea, inside a simulation that has evolved beyond his control. As he explores multiple eerie islands filled with unsettling inhabitants and strange landscapes inspired by the biomechanical art of H. R. Giger and the haunting visions of Zdzisław Beksiński, David uncovers layers of his creation that hint at divine beings and hidden motives. The narrative unfolds through atmospheric dialogue and challenging puzzles, inviting players to delve deeper into the simulation’s mysteries and the protagonist’s fractured memories. Gameplay centers on exploration and puzzle-solving, with an emphasis on choice and consequence. Conversations and decisions rarely offer clear right or wrong answers, instead influencing the fates of characters David encounters and guiding the story toward one of multiple possible endings.
