Building on the gameplay foundations of the first chapter, Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter offers an expanded combat system with new Crafts and S-Crafts that allow for more dynamic and strategic battles. The introduction of the Brave Rush mechanic enables linked attacks between party members during Quick Battles, while the orbment system provides access to powerful magical Arts. Players who carry over their save data from the previous game gain bonus items that ease progression.
