Trine 3: The Artifacts of Power invites players into a beautifully crafted fairytale world filled with vibrant landscapes and intricate physics-based puzzles. This action-adventure platformer continues the story of three beloved heroes—Pontius the Knight, Amadeus the Wizard, and Zoya the Thief—who find themselves grappling with the consequences of tampering with a powerful magical artifact known as the Trine. When the artifact shatters, an ancient sorcerer is unleashed, and the heroes must work together to repair the damage before it’s too late. For the first time in the series, the game transitions to full 3D, allowing players to explore the enchanting environments in greater depth and discover hidden secrets throughout their journey. Gameplay centers around switching between the three characters, each with unique abilities that complement one another. Amadeus can summon and manipulate magical objects, Pontius excels in frontline combat with his sword and shield, and Zoya’s agility and grappling hook offer versatile navigation and ranged attacks. Players can experience the game solo or team up with up to three players in local or online co-op, seamlessly shifting between modes with friends. Beyond the main story, the “Lost Pages” challenge provides a series of demanding puzzles and inventive contraptions designed to test players’ skills.
