Unholy Prayer is a 2D side-scrolling action game set in a dark, gothic world overrun by monsters and the undead. Players take on the role of a nun tasked by the church with confronting supernatural threats and restoring order to corrupted lands. Armed with faith-based abilities and traditional weapons, she ventures into cursed environments where danger lurks around every corner. The game focuses on fast-paced combat and platforming, challenging players to fight through waves of enemies while navigating hazardous terrain. As the journey progresses, new abilities and tools become available, allowing for more strategic encounters and varied approaches to combat. Enemy designs draw heavily from horror and occult themes, reinforcing the bleak atmosphere of the world.
