Game Overview

SimRail - The Railway Simulator: Łódź–Warsaw expands the experience with a meticulously recreated railway route connecting the vibrant city of Łódź to the Polish capital, Warsaw. This new DLC invites players to explore a detailed stretch of track starting at Łódź Widzew station and passing through key stops such as Koluszki, Rogów, Skierniewice, and Żyrardów before reaching Grodzisk Mazowiecki and ultimately Warsaw. Each station along the way captures the unique character and history of the region, from the modernized hubs to historic landmarks like the 1845 roundhouse in Skierniewice and the iconic water tower near Żyrardów. The route offers an authentic glimpse into one of Poland’s most important railway lines, blending scenic landscapes with rich local heritage. Players take the helm of the iconic EN57 electric multiple unit, affectionately known as the “kibel,” now featuring the Łódź provincial livery (EN57-919). This legendary train has been a staple of Polish regional rail for decades, and here it’s tasked with managing the busy commuter traffic between central Poland and Warsaw. The gameplay challenges users to navigate the complex rhythms of passenger and freight services amid the rush hour hustle, balancing timely arrivals with operational demands. Whether tackling the route solo through immersive single-player missions or cooperating with others in the expanded multiplayer mode, players will experience the dynamic flow and intricacies of daily rail operations on this vital corridor.
