Wave Break plunges players into a vibrant and chaotic world where skateboarding meets high-speed motorboating. Set against a backdrop of neon-lit waterways and sun-soaked harbors, the game offers an episodic single-player campaign that follows a gritty rivalry among a cast of colorful characters. The story unfolds through a series of missions blending classic skateboarding challenges with intense action, featuring gunfights, daring kickflips, and a gritty undercurrent of blood money. Players can test their skills in a variety of modes, from chasing high scores in Trick Attack to engaging in fast-paced Deathmatch battles, or simply honing their abilities in Free Play. Progression in Wave Break is driven by earning in-game currency, which allows players to customize their boats and characters with a vast array of clothing, decals, and gear upgrades. The game supports both online ranked matchmaking and local multiplayer split-screen for up to four players, encouraging competitive and cooperative play.
