Set aboard the massive airship Sunchaser at the dawn of the 20th century, Whitestone immerses players in a gripping tale of mystery and survival. You take on the role of Jack, an apprentice in the ship’s Archaeology department embarking on a pivotal voyage to the Arctic. When Jack’s quarters are ransacked and a close friend disappears, a creeping paranoia spreads among the crew, turning suspicion towards Jack himself. As tensions rise, players must navigate a complex web of trust and deception, confronting both psychological nightmares and physical threats while uncovering the truth behind the unsettling events on board. Blending elements of RPG, horror, action, comedy, and romance, Whitestone offers a deeply branching narrative shaped by your choices. The game features multiple story routes that explore different characters, combat styles, and outcomes, with endings ranging from hopeful JRPG-inspired resolutions to darker survival horror conclusions. Over roughly 10 hours and 30 in-game days, you’ll engage with a diverse cast of 20 crewmates, each with unique side quests, while wielding a variety of weapons and elemental powers. The game’s combat system spans eight levels that mix medieval fantasy, sci-fi, and steampunk influences, providing rich tactical depth. A New Game+ mode further challenges players by increasing difficulty while preserving progress, encouraging multiple playthroughs to uncover all facets of this atmospheric and emotionally charged adventure.
