XENOBREAKERS: Classic Tower Defense places players on the desert planet Kernas, where the transport ship Lockwood has crash-landed after being shot down. As Billy and his crew make their way to the extraction zone at Drop City #237, you’re tasked with defending them against waves of giant bugs, malfunctioning droids, and other hostile forces. The game unfolds through a series of hand-drawn comic pages that narrate the crew’s perilous journey, adding a unique visual storytelling element to the tower defense experience. Gameplay revolves around strategically placing and upgrading a variety of towers, each with distinct roles and abilities. Starting with five base towers, players can choose from two branching upgrade paths per tower, resulting in 15 unique specializations that can be further enhanced.
