Yakuza Kiwami

Yakuza Kiwami is a remake of the original Yakuza game, set in the vibrant and gritty red-light district of modern-day Kamurocho, Tokyo. The story follows Kazuma Kiryu, a former yakuza who takes the fall for a murder he didn’t commit and returns to a world on the verge of a violent clan war after a decade behind bars. As Kiryu, players navigate a gripping narrative filled with themes of loyalty, betrayal, and redemption, all while uncovering the complex relationships and power struggles within the criminal underworld. Gameplay in Yakuza Kiwami blends intense, hand-to-hand combat with a unique system that allows players to switch between four distinct fighting styles—each offering different strengths, from quick and agile moves to heavy-hitting, overpowering attacks. Players can also use environmental objects as weapons, adding variety and strategy to encounters.
