Source of Madness is a dark, side-scrolling action roguelite set in the eerie and twisted world of the Loam Lands, a place steeped in Lovecraftian horror and cosmic mystery. Players assume the role of a new Acolyte embarking on a harrowing journey to uncover the secrets of the Loam Lands and The Tower of Madness, a mysterious citadel perched on the moon. The game’s atmosphere is richly crafted, blending a haunting narrative with procedurally generated environments that ensure each playthrough feels unique and unpredictable. Gameplay centers around intense close-combat magic and exploration through labyrinthine environments filled with ever-changing threats. - Once Source of Madness is done downloading, right click on the torrent and select “Open Containing Folder”.
- Double click inside the Source of Madness folder and run the “setup” application.
- Install the game. Be sure to disable any form of anti virus so no files get corrupted.
- Once complete, launch the game, have fun and play. If you encounter any problems, run the game as administrator and be sure to update your video drivers and have DirectX installed which you can get here.
