Astroneer sends you on a serene yet adventurous journey across vibrant, procedurally generated planets where creativity, exploration, and engineering define your survival. Set in the 25th century during an intergalactic gold rush, you play as an astronaut armed with a deform tool capable of reshaping terrain itself. Dig through mountains, carve tunnels, flatten landscapes, and uncover valuable resources buried beneath alien surfaces. Every planet has its own challenges, biomes, weather, and secrets to discover, giving you total freedom to explore, build, and experiment at your own pace. As you gather materials, you’ll craft vehicles, modular bases, power systems, research stations, and tools to expand your reach into deep planetary systems. Whether you prefer peaceful building, scavenging ancient alien structures, or optimizing massive automation chains, Astroneer rewards creativity and problem-solving. The entire experience can be played solo or in 4-player co-op, allowing friends to join in and shape the world alongside you. - Extract the .zip file with WinRAR, Double click inside the ASTRONEER folder and run the “ASTRONEER” application.
- Launch the game, have fun and play. If you encounter any problems, run the game as administrator and be sure to update your video drivers and have DirectX installed which you can get here.
